Start with your workload, then compare the actual machines and quotes. Ricoh, Canon, Konica Minolta, Sharp, Kyocera and Xerox offer different models and configurations. A brand-wide ranking cannot tell you whether a particular used copier has the right paper handling, condition or support for your office.
We recommend considering our Ricoh inventory because you can compare listed prices, request meter readings and select a tested machine for an outright purchase. We sell Ricoh and Ricoh-built Savin and Lanier equipment; we do not stock the other brands discussed here.
For proposals, flyers and customer-facing documents that need color, compare used color copiers. For offices producing mostly contracts, invoices and text reports, start with black-and-white copiers. A color scanner does not necessarily mean a copier prints in color.
Next, choose the paper-size class. If you need 11x17, avoid treating an A4 desktop machine as an equivalent alternative. Our paper-size comparison explains that decision.

Our range includes compact and floor-standing models, color and monochrome output, and MP and IM generations. That gives you several ways to match equipment to a budget. We inspect and test machines before sale, and you can request the exact meter reading before ordering.
Choosing a Ricoh already available in our inventory can also make the purchase easier to evaluate: you have a model, a stated price and a specific configuration to discuss. Those are concrete reasons to request a Ricoh quote. Parts availability, firmware support and operating cost should still be checked for the particular model.
If you already have one of these brands working well with your software and service provider, include the cost of changing that setup. Ask the other seller for the same condition evidence and complete quote that you request from us. Compare equivalent paper sizes and output classes rather than a small desktop unit against a large office system.
For a Kyocera quote or another model not covered in the detailed comparisons, use the checklist above and send the model number with your requirements. We can identify a Ricoh option from current stock without pretending that every competing machine has the same specifications.
There is no defensible universal lifespan promise for a used copier. Age, meter, maintenance, environment, parts support and workload affect useful life.
