We deliver our copiers ourselves, and a certified Ricoh technician installs each one — placed, networked, tested and explained to your staff before you pay anything. Most sellers ship by freight and leave the setup to the buyer. We think the install is what you'll judge us on, so we do it in person.
The copier is delivered, installed and running in your office before any money changes hands. If it isn't the machine for you, we take it away at no charge.

This county covers more ground, commercially, than almost any other in the Bay Area, and the copier that suits one part of it is wrong for another.
Oakland and Berkeley have a dense concentration of nonprofits, community organizations, clinics, law offices and small institutions — places where budgets are scrutinized and equipment is expected to last. That's the profile buying outright serves best: no monthly obligation, no five-year commitment, and a machine you own outright at the end of the first year rather than the fifth.
Fremont, Newark, Union City and Hayward lean industrial and logistics. Those offices tend to want durable black-and-white volume, reliable duplexing, and paperwork that comes out fast — packing lists, work orders, shipping documents, compliance records. Color is often secondary. A properly rated monochrome machine is usually both cheaper and better suited than a color unit bought for occasional use.
Pleasanton, Dublin, Livermore and San Ramon's neighbors along the 580 corridor are largely professional and corporate offices in business parks, where scanning volume and finishing — stapling, hole punch — matter more than raw speed.

Most of the county is straightforward: business parks in Fremont, Hayward, Pleasanton and Livermore have good access and easy scheduling. Where a bit of planning pays off is downtown Oakland's office towers and the older commercial buildings in Berkeley and Alameda, where a copier may need a booked elevator slot and, occasionally, a certificate of insurance for the building. We're selective about what enters inventory. Before buying a used copier we read its internal service history — total counter, jam history by location, fault log, maintenance counters, and which parts have already been replaced — then confirm that wear on rollers, drums, developer and fusing matches what the counter claims. Machines with a clean record are the ones we take.
Every unit leaves on current firmware, a step most sellers skip. Manufacturer firmware improves scanning behavior, network stability and compatibility with current drivers and operating systems, so an updated machine works better with the network you already have.

Ricoh first — selling Ricoh, Xerox and Lanier since 1991 — plus Canon, Kyocera, Sharp and Konica Minolta as we source them. Savin, Gestetner and Lanier are rebadged Ricoh engines, so parts and service on those are effectively identical to Ricoh.
