We bring our copiers out ourselves and a certified Ricoh technician installs each one — positioned, networked, tested and handed over to your staff before you pay anything. Most sellers ship by freight and leave setup to the buyer; we'd rather do the part that actually determines whether the machine works for you.
The copier is delivered, installed and running in your office before any money changes hands. If it isn't right for you, we take it away at no charge.

The county splits fairly cleanly into two commercial characters, and they want different machines.
The 680 corridor — Walnut Creek, Danville, San Ramon and central Concord — is dense with professional services: insurance, financial planning, real estate, law, medical and dental practices, and corporate offices. These are steady-volume offices where reliable duplexing, clean scanning and finishing like stapling matter more than headline speed. Predictable volume is also exactly the profile where buying outright beats leasing, because a lease bills the same whether you print or not.
East County — Antioch, Pittsburg, Oakley and Brentwood — has grown quickly, with newer business parks, contractors, property management, healthcare and municipal-adjacent offices. Growing offices are the ones most likely to be running a machine bought when they were half the size. Putting a light-duty unit under heavy monthly volume is the most common and most expensive mismatch in this business, and moving up a class usually costs less than people assume.
Richmond and San Pablo tend toward industrial, logistics and community-service organizations, where durable black-and-white output and dependable document feeding do most of the work.
Most of Contra Costa is easy for delivery — suburban office parks and ground-floor suites with good vehicle access, which makes scheduling simple. Walnut Creek and Concord's mid-rise office buildings sometimes involve a booked elevator and building move-in hours, and occasionally a certificate of insurance. Mention it when you call and we'll arrange it before the day.
East County and the Brentwood/Oakley area are a straightforward run for us, and we plan the trip so the machine reaches the room you want rather than the nearest open door.
Before a used copier enters our inventory we read its own service history off the machine — total counter, jam history by location, fault log, maintenance counters and the record of parts already replaced — and check that wear on rollers, drums, developer and fusing is consistent with the count. A clean log is what we're looking for.
Every machine then goes out on current firmware. Manufacturer firmware improves scan-to-email behavior, network stability and compatibility with today's drivers and operating systems, so the copier arrives working smoothly with your existing setup rather than needing to be chased.
