Used Copiers in Silicon Valley & the South Bay

Serving San Jose, Sunnyvale, Santa Clara, Mountain View, Milpitas, Palo Alto, Cupertino, Campbell, Morgan Hill and Gilroy.

Our South Bay service area, from Palo Alto and Mountain View south through San Jose to Morgan Hill and Gilroy.

When you buy a copier from us, it arrives the way office equipment should. We deliver it ourselves, a certified Ricoh technician installs it and sets it up on your network, and your staff know how to run it before we leave.

Most sellers ship these machines by freight and leave the setup to the buyer. We take a different view: the install is what determines whether you're happy with the copier a year from now, so we handle it in person.

We Set It Up in Your Office Before You Pay

The copier is delivered, installed and running in your office before any money changes hands. If you decide it isn't the machine for you, we take it away at no charge.

  1. You call and tell us your monthly volume, paper sizes and finishing needs
  2. We tell you what's in stock, the actual meter count, and the price
  3. We deliver it to your office ourselves
  4. A certified Ricoh technician installs it and configures it on your network
  5. We show you how it runs and train your staff on using and maintaining it
  6. You run your own jobs on it, with us there
  7. Then you pay, by check

In 40 years, we have never had to take a copier back.

What South Bay Offices Tend to Need

The South Bay has a particular pattern: a lot of companies here scale headcount quickly, and office equipment decisions get made under time pressure. Two situations come up again and again.

Coming off a lease. Silicon Valley runs on leased equipment, and a great many of those agreements were signed when the company was a different size than it is now. When a five-year term ends, the honest question is whether the next one makes sense — particularly if your print volume has fallen as workflows moved to digital. Buying a low-meter machine outright removes the monthly line item and the end-of-term return entirely.

Growing faster than the equipment. The other frequent call is from an office that bought a small desktop-class multifunction for six people and now has forty. Running a light-duty machine at heavy-duty volume is the single most expensive mismatch in this category — it wears out fast and jams under load. Moving to a properly rated machine usually costs less than people expect, because a low-meter used unit of the right class is often cheaper than a new unit of the wrong one.

Either way, tell us your monthly page count and we'll tell you what class of machine actually fits.

Delivery Across the South Bay

Most South Bay offices are straightforward for delivery — ground-floor suites or office parks with good access, which makes scheduling easy. Where it gets more involved is the downtown San Jose towers and the older Palo Alto and Mountain View buildings along the University and Castro corridors, where access can mean a shared elevator and booked move-in hours. Tell us the situation when you call and we'll plan around it.

Business parks in Santa Clara, Sunnyvale and Milpitas are usually simple. Morgan Hill and Gilroy are an easy run for us on the way up or back.

Who Installs It

Our owner has been a Ricoh technician for 40 years. The Ricoh SC error code library on this site — SC101 through SC998, cross-referenced against Ricoh's service manuals — is ours, and copier technicians around the country use it to diagnose machines. That background is why we read a machine's internal service history before buying it, and why the person setting up your copier can also tell you what the panel is saying.

Setup is the part people underestimate. Network addressing, scan-to-email through your mail server or scan-to-folder with the right permissions, drivers on the workstations that need them, address book and user codes, finisher calibration, image density and registration on your paper — that's a technician's job, and it's the difference between a copier that's fully working on day one and one that takes weeks to settle in.

What We Carry

We're a Ricoh house first — selling Ricoh, Xerox and Lanier since 1991 — and we also source Canon, Kyocera, Sharp and Konica Minolta. Machines are history-checked, meter-verified and updated to current firmware before they leave the building. We publish the actual meter count, not a range.

Haven't come across the Ricoh name before? Our guide to choosing between Ricoh, Canon, Konica Minolta, Sharp and Kyocera explains where each fits, and our technician's checklist covers what to look at on any used machine.

Nearby Areas We Cover

We also serve the Peninsula, Alameda County, San Francisco and the Monterey Bay area. See all Northern California regions.
